April, 23, 2020 Update:
In mid-March 2020, with Massachusetts in the eye of the world pandemic COVID-19 coronavirus storm, Governor Charlie Baker deemed that grooming was a ‘non-essential’ business and should be stopped until social distancing was no longer a public safety requirement. I groomed my last client on March, 17, 2020 and as of today, I have not returned to work.

In this period of down time, I have learn video and music editing using Filmora9 and Audacity software. Below are some of the collaborative music projects I have edited using these new skills:

Here are some Youtube links to some of my music making efforts  – Hope you enjoy!

I started playing horn in fourth grade – about 49 years ago… this recent performance is one of my favorites – Reverie – Mendelssohn. With thanks to dear friend Guy Urban and the First Parish Watertown for it’s magnificent acoustics.

I also play the Eb Tenor horn – played it for a dozen year in the British style New England Brass Band, but now I mostly play at church. This simple version of Greensleeves, played with my boy Elijah at a holiday service in 2014 is one of my nicer playing performances.

I also love to sing. I joined the church choir a dozen years ago and have been trying to learn guitar to accompany my many favorite standards. This video below is actually of me and my mom singing an original song – the lyrics are hers (at 93 years old, she is a poet who has her own blog and reads at various open mics), and the music is mine…
